Coastal Connections
Somerset House, London (Touring)
Client: World Monuments Fund
Coastal Connections is a joint initiative between World Monuments Fund and English Heritage to build a global network of coastal heritage sites. Sharing knowledge, expertise and solutions to address the common challenges of managing treasured places in diverse and dynamic environments.
Commissioned by the World Monuments Fund, and launching at the London Design Biennale hosted at Somerset House the exhibition focused on seven global sites at risk.
The screen was housed in a structure referencing Hurst Castle's walls (the chosen UK site). Visitors were invited to interact with the exhibition choosing from seven videos each programmed and edited in-house. The exhibition continues to tour most recently appearing at Dover Castle.
