Kensa - Ground Source Heat Pump display
The Building Centre, London & Chadwell St. Mary, Essex
Client: Kensa Group
Ground Source Heat Pumps collect thermal energy from the ground to produce hot water for heating and domestic hot water. In Summer heat from the property is absorbed and distributed back recharging the ground to boost heating efficiency in winter.
Kensa is a leading manufacturer and pioneer of heat pump technology. They asked if we could communicate this process in a visual way to allow new audiences to gain an understanding of the process.
The Arduino controlled LEDs demonstrate the heating and cooling process whilst the windows of the properties and Shoebox unit denote whether the product is in heating or cooling mode.
