Babel is an annual festival which celebrates literature and translation. Each year the festival focuses on a different part of the world inviting leading writers and poets from that particular region.

The challenge was to design a space in which contextual video could be shown to accompany the themes of the festival. Our approach was to communicate the transient and documentary approach of the festival by alluding to the bellows camera and allowing the booth to be transportable and easily assembled.
